Mission, vision and target audience

Mission

To train and qualify professionals for the practice of Applied Microbiology, with an emphasis on the areas of Biotechnology, Clinical Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, and Food Microbiology, to meet specific demands and productive arrangements aimed at improving the quality, productivity, and competitiveness of public and private organizations, whether national, regional, or local, in the development of products and/or techniques with biotechnological innovation.

To be a reference in the field of Microbiology in the productive sector in Brazil.

Target audience

Professionals from the public or private sectors in the field of Microbiology who, in interaction with the program, develop research of interest to the productive sector.
